Live internet bidding will be available at this auction on Ring 1 only – large plant and equipment. A £2,000 deposit will be taken from all on line bidders prior to the auction. The deposit can be taken from a debit or credit card when registering on i-bidder.com. Please note that credit card transactions attract a 2% surcharge. Buyers are welcome to pay the deposit by bank transfer. Please indicate this through the registration process. You must sign up for live internet bidding at least 18 hours before the sale, which is no later than 4pm on Monday 23rd August. No internet bidding applications will be accepted after this time. Sign ups for this auction are provisional and subject to the approval of the auctioneer who will notify bidders by email. There will be a buyers premium of 5.0% (+VAT) added to the hammer price of all lots. PAYMENT Payment for all lots must be made on the day of sale. Our terms are strictly cash, bank transfer, direct debit card, credit card with a surcharge of 2%, cheques if accompanied by a valid bankers card covering the amount. PAYMENT IN CASH In order to comply with money laundering regulations we can no longer automatically accept payment in cash exceeding €15,000 (£14,000). Payment in cash in excess of this amount must be accompanied by valid proof of identity ie passport supported by two utility bills, bank statement or equivalent.

RISK All lots remain at the risk of the buyer from the fall of the hammer. Purchasers are strongly advised to insure their purchases at once.
LOAD OUT All lots should be removed as soon as possible after the sale and in any event NO LATER THAN THURSDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER. The premises will be open for clearance on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday following the auction from 8am until 5pm. No vehicle movement will be permitted on site until selling has finished. Please note that due to The Reading Festival, traffic in Reading is likely to be severely congested on Thursday 26th August. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO CLEARANCE OVER THE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND – SATURDAY 28TH UNTIL MONDAY 30TH AUGUST INCLUSIVE

All lots are sold as seen without warranty and are available for inspection prior to sale.
HIRE PURCHASE We would respectfully remind buyers wishing to purchase goods on finance that they should make such arrangements before they make their purchases as payment is due at the fall of the hammer in accordance with our terms of business and conditions of sale.
