VIEWING Viewing is by appointment with the auctioneers

on 7TH and 8TH DECEMBER 2013 onsite between 10.00am

- 4.00pm. Please visit the website to view any photographs,

drawings or plans of lots before placing bids.

Prior to the preview at The Lanesborough, all lots are available

to be viewed online at www.proauction.com. The website

search facility allows you to view the sale room by room, and

keyword searches can be entered to find specific items.

On the viewing day, all public areas and sample bedrooms

containing lots for sale will be accessible for viewing . Pro

Auction staff will be on hand throughout the hotel to provide

assistance and directions. In addition AV panoramic images

can be viewed on a room by room basis.

 

INSPECTION & CONDITION The lots may be inspected

at the times and place set out in the Catalogue. Each buyer

(whether or not he inspects those lots which he purchases)

shall be deemed to buy with notice of all defects in them.

No buyer shall have the right to reject for any reason any lot

which he may purchase. Every express or implied warranty or

condition as to condition or fitness for purpose of any of the

articles is excluded.

 

CONTENTS All items in, under, over and around any lot in this

catalogue are not included with such lot unless stated in the

catalogue description or by the Auctioneer

 

DIMENSIONS, DOCUMENTS & SOFTWARE The Vendors/

Agents/Auctioneers reserve the right to remove any documents

they may require from the lot prior to the sale or at any later

date.

Title to computer Software is not transferred and use is subject

to any licence or copyright restrictions and user conditions.

The Vendors/Agents/Auctioneers reserve the right to erase any

private or sensitive information prior to delivery or at any later

date.

Note all capacities, dimensions and dates provided in the

catalogue are approximate and potential purchasers should

make their own inspection for verification, BEFORE placing a

bid.

 

MANNER OF OFFERING The lots will be offered in strict

catalogue order. The auctioneer shall in every other respect

decide how the Auction is to be conducted and without being

required to give a reason.

The Auctioneer reserves the right to effect conditional sales

on certain lots.

Where applicable, Lots will be offered subject to a reserve.

Lots with a quantity greater than 1 shall be offered on an individual

basis – the highest bidder shall have the option, at the auctioneers

discretion, to bid for 1 or all of the quantity available.

Please ensure that you have obtained a copy of any addendums

or amendments to the sale relating to the lot or catalogue.

 

SITE PROCEDURE The Vendor or Pro Auctions Limited are

not liable for, nor accept any responsibility for any injury, loss

or damage to persons or property sustained whilst on site.

All persons entering a Pro Auction site may be searched

including their vehicles. There are no exemptions to this

provision. This statement provides that a Pro Auction team

leader or a designated security officer may search:

1. any person who is in, or seeking to enter or leave a Site

or building, and

2. any article in the possession of such a person.

The main purpose of searching any individual is to reduce the

risk of inappropriate items being brought on to site, to prevent

unauthorised access and to reduce the risk of unauthorised

removal of property. It also allows a security officer to search

any article in that person’s possession. Security officers may

also require the removal of a coat, jacket, headgear, gloves or

footwear. The Security Officer also has the right to search the

vehicle of anyone leaving or arriving on site

CCTV CCTV surveillance is in operation at The Lanesborough,

Images are being monitored and recorded for the purposes of

crime prevention and public safety.

 

REGISTRATION Prior to bidding in the sale, you will need to

register your details with us. To avoid queuing on the day of

the sale, we would strongly encourage you to register with us

in advance. This can be done in one of the following ways:

2. At any Pro Auction saleroom

3. At The Lanesborough on the viewing or auction days

Prospective purchasers must register and obtain a buyer’s

number when entering the site on Sale Day in order

to participate in the sale. A REQUIREMENT OF SUCH

REGISTRATION WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHIC AND PROOF OF

ABILITY TO PAY FOR POTENTIAL PURCHASES, (PASSPORT,

DRIVING LICENCE).

 

The Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse admission.

Persons under the age of 16 will not be allowed on site.

Prospective online bidders must register on the bidding

platform prior to the sale commencing, providing such

information as required by the site to participate in the event.

 

ABSENT BUYING INSTRUCTIONS If you cannot attend the

sale we will execute bids confidentially on your behalf. For

absent bids indicate your limit for each lot, Your bids will be

executed at the lowest prices allowed by reserves and other

bids. A buyers premium plus applicable charges & taxes, is

payable on successful bids. Absentee and telephone bids are

accepted at your risk, and are subject to the Terms & Conditions

of sale and any Special Conditions relating to the auction.

Please submit your bids not later than 4 hours prior to the sale

commencing, you will receive confirmation of receipt. 25%

deposit required on composite total of bids.

Simply fill out an absentee bidding form (available on the

Registration desk at The Lanesborough or at the back of the

catalogue or from our download form at www.proauction.

com) stating what lot(s) you are interested in, the maximum

amount you would pay to secure it (them), excluding the

buyer’s premium and VAT

 

TELEPHONE BIDDING Given the large number of items on

offer, telephone bidding will be limited to bidders interested

in leaving bids of £1000 and above. You will be required to

leave a covering bid – this is a pre-arranged bid amount that

the auctioneers staff member may execute on behalf of a

telephone bidder in the event that a telephone bidder cannot

be contacted in time.

 

BUYERS PREMIUM Buyer’s Premium of 16.5% plus V.A.T.

will be added to purchasers bills. The Buyers Premium will

relate to any sales which might take place prior to the auction,

during the auction and after the auction and indeed to any

Private Treaty Sales of items not included in the auction.

 

DEPOSITS The Auctioneer reserves the right to take a 25%

deposit at Point of Sale. Purchasers are reminded to leave a

25% deposit before leaving site on sale day. Payment in full

must be made within 24 hours of the sale.

 

VAT VAT will be added to the total sale bills at 20% or the

current prevailing rate of UK VAT.

Special rules apply for sales for export – request information

from the auctioneer.

 

HOW TO PAY All lots must be paid with cleared funds within

24 hours of the sale ending, unless specific arrangements have

been made by exception. The auctioneer is entitled to charge

in full or in part the amount due including all fees, from debit

or credit card details registered by bidders participating in

auction events

We will accept payment in sterling cash or traveller’s cheques

up to a maximum amount of £5000 for lots purchased by you

in this sale.

 

HOW TO COLLECT

REMOVAL DATES: Lots may be collected from The

Lanesborough directly between 21st December 2013 and the

9th January 2014, between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm

All collections must be pre-booked and confirmed by the

auctioneers prior to arrival at site.

 

ORDER OF REMOVAL Lots must be paid for before collection

can be arranged. When you have made payment, we will issue

you with a ‘Buyer Collection’ note, which you will need to

present in order to collect any lots purchased.

Lots are at the buyer’s risk from the fall of the hammer. Lots

must be insured by the purchaser from the fall of the hammer,

no responsibility whatsoever will rest with the Auctioneer or

Vendor in the event of any loss suffered.

Buyers shall co-operate regarding order of removal in order

to comply with the clearance date. If it transpires that a

purchaser makes no effort to commence dismantling and

the particular item of plant is preventing other buyers from

removing equipment, then the Auctioneer reserves the right

to insist that removal take place immediately notwithstanding

the final clearance date. If in the event the purchaser does not

comply, then the Auctioneer reserves the right to arrange for

the removal of the lot or lots and charge any attendant costs

to the purchaser.

All lots which are subject to a lift-out charge are detailed on an

information sheet available from the Sale’s pay office, where

applicable the charges are mandatory.

All sold items will be held at The Lanesborough available

for collection, over the removal date period, thereafter all

remaining items will be removed to Crown Worldwide Ltd, and

additional charges will apply.

Lots not collected from the premises before the date and time

specified will be removed from site and held under lien until all

payments are made to Pro Auction and all outstanding storage

charges are paid to Crown Worldwide Ltd.
