A £500 deposit will be taken from all on line bidders prior to the auction.

The deposit can be taken from a debit or credit card when registering on i-bidder.com. Please note that credit card transactions attract a 2% (plus VAT) surcharge.

Buyers are welcome to pay the deposit by bank transfer. Please indicate this through the registration process.

You must sign up for live internet bidding no later than 4pm on Friday 20th September. No internet bidding applications will be accepted after this time.

Sign ups for this auction are provisional and subject to the approval of the auctioneer who will notify bidders by email.

There will be standard buyers’ premium of 5% (+VAT) added to the hammer price of all lots in this section. Internet bidders will be required to pay an additional 1% (+VAT) buyers premium.

No VAT will be payable on any lots in this auction.

Removal of goods: All lots remain at the risk of the purchaser from the fall of the hammer and should be removed as soon as possible. The premises will be open for collection on Sunday 22nd September between 9am and 11am providing payment has been received and funds cleared. The premises will also be attended on Monday 23rd September between 10am and 4pm, thereafter by arrangement.

Purchasers are reminded that all lots become their responsibility from the fall of the hammer and are strongly advised to effect their own insurance at once.

Payment: Payment for all lots must be made on the day of sale. Our terms are strictly cash, debit or credit card (2% plus VAT surcharge) or bankers draft. Customers unknown to us and wishing to pay by cheque must produce a bankers reference or cheque guarantee card to cover the sum of their purchases.

The Auctioneers reserve the right to request a deposit of £500 from customers unknown to them. Proof of identity essential. No clearance of goods will be allowed until such arrangements have been made.

Payment in Cash: In order to comply with money laundering regulations we will not accept payment in cash exceeding £9,000. Cash payments in excess of £4,000 must be accompanied by valid proof of identity, ie passport/driving licence, supported by 2 utility bills, bank statement or equivalent. Cash payments via your bank cannot be accepted. The Auctioneers will only accept payment from and permit removal of goods purchased by the successful purchaser or their duly appointed agent. No lots will be transferred to third party invoices following the auction.
