This is a timed sale only. Items cannot be collected from our London address and we cannot process collections in person from this address.  Some items may require shipping from different locations and where this is the case, it will be included within the item description.  We are happy to provide quotes for delivery on request.  Where this is not detailed in the item description (UK) delivery is provided free of charge.

Please note, we do not accept card payments for this sale. Payment must be made in full and by bank transfer only. Payment must be made within 48 hours of the auction end.

NEW BIDDERS may experience an issue with a first transfer to our Metrobank company account.  Please let us know if this happens. 

Full payment instructions will accompany your post sale invoice, which will be sent after the sale to your registered email address. Where watches are sold, boxed examples will include this detail in the description.   Boxed simply means that an appropriate branded box is included.  Any paperwork etc will be detailed in the item catalogue description. All entries are tested to ensure that they are working. This is a basic functioning test, we do not test all functions, timekeeping, specific aspects or condition, but will be happy to provide detailed additional information as required and up to 2 hours prior to the sale ending. It is possible that battery powered examples may require a new battery. We do not have service records (unless stated) and whilst a watch is authenticated as a genuine example of the marque, we do not offer or imply any warranty to any item sold in terms of its functions, refinishing or restoration or parts that may have been used in repairs or servicing, nor originality of aftermarket enhancements (including bracelets / straps, stone settings, bracelet parts, bezels and dials) or its longer term working condition. Please note that where aftermarket additions have been added, such as stone settings, bezels or dials, the original manufacturer and some other retailers may decline to provide repairs and / or servicing, due to the alteration of the watch from production specification.  Likewise, some watches may require sealing under special pressurised conditions to ensure water tightness, for diving purposes. We would advise any purchaser to have their watch re-sealed by an approved technician, before exposing a watch to water. Where watches are boxed and / or include paperwork, this will be stated in the description and / or included in the images displayed. Vintage wines and spirits are not offered as warranted for consumption and should be treated as collectables. Where stones are described as heat treated and or fissure filled, please be aware that due to the treatment of some stones using additional materials in the process, subsequent testing may reflect this, identifying for example glass as material used to treat the stones.

PLEASE NOTE : When a bid is received within the last 10 minutes of the auction end, 10 additional minutes will be automatically added to end time of that specific lot.  This will continue for as long as competing bids are received. 

**POSTAGE TO UK ADDRESSES IS SUPPLIED FREE OF CHARGE FOR THIS SALE ** (UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE IN THE ITEM DESCRIPTION)  Parcels are sent by secure means, generally within 7 - 10 days of payment receipt. 

Postage within the UK is in the main handled by Royal Mail Special Delivery. The maximum insured value for this service (per parcel) is £2500. We will divide your purchases into dual or multiple parcels in order not to exceed the £2500 value limit, however please note the maximum insured value per parcel will not exceed £2500 unless additional insurance is purchased. In the rare event of any claim arising, this maximum figure will apply, unless additional insurance has been requested and purchased. Your contact details will be made available to our couriers and if required – insurers.

We are happy to quote for overseas postage, which we handle in house and at reasonable cost.

Please note, overseas shipments carry a maximum insured value of £250 (GBP). Additional or full value insurance can be arranged at cost. Please advise us of this prior to shipment and we will refer you to a shipping insurance provider. 

Once your parcel is delivered, you are responsible for its care and security. This especially applies to requests to deliver to an address alternative to that registered, but should be applied over all. No warranty is given or implied for any item within the sale, beyond the catalogue description. We invite condition reports or any request for detailed information, at least two hours before the sale end date. At the end of the sale, the post sale advice will not be sent until all lots have finished bidding.

UNPAID ACCOUNTS. Auction (both live and online) is a legal contract of purchase. Unless an agreement has been made with an Auction Revolution director, unpaid accounts after 7 days will be passed to a third party debt collection company. The title of goods will be lost and fees will become payable at 30% of the hammer price plus court and / or recovery costs. We reserve the right to charge interest at the current Bank of England rate on any outstanding debt.

Sometimes lines are very busy and in circumstances where customers have any issues contacting us, we would invite contact by email. Delivery following payment, is by tracked special carriage and takes typically 7 - 10 days (from payment) within the UK. Overseas may take longer, depending on location. Registered bidders will be updated on future auction sale dates. Registered bidders may unsubscribe from our list using the option at the base of any catalogue email.

VAT: VAT does not apply to the sale price of any item unless otherwise stated. It does apply to fees payable in addition to the hammer price. VAT is included within this figure. If you require an itemised VAT invoice, or are exempt / non UK taxpayer, please inform us.

If you are an overseas purchaser and require overseas shipping, please request this and we will forward an invoice inclusive of shipping. (BASIC COVER OF £250 WILL BE PROVIDED.  ADDITIONAL INSURANCE WHERE APPROPRIATE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.  PLEASE ASK AND WE WILL PROVIDE DETAILS OF AN INDEPENDENT INSURER UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN.  THIS IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY).  Any charges for customs or similar for parcels entering an overseas country are the responsibility of the purchaser. All customs paperwork will be completed at full purchase value.
