The Eldorado is the fastest ,smoothest and best handling of the series .  Benefitting from a strengthend crankcase and 5 speed gearbox, and unique to this bike a 4 leading shoe front brake from the V7 sport model;this machine is ready for anything a prospective purchaser may have in mind. from the centre piece of an Italian collection to a grand European tour the standard of restoration and workmanship will not let you down. An original American market Eldorado,living the first part of its life in NYC this bike has been the subject of the most comprehensive and meticulous restoration,incorprating the best of period and modern materials ,n.o.s parts , products and engineering to create to create a concours riders machineinspired by and the equal of the famous “cycle garden “ loop frame restorations. An outline of the restoration which includes over £9000 of new parts and services not including over 300 hours of labour follows. Sellers Terms and Conditions

 

 

 

There is no entry fee for car or motorcycle consignments. Should your entry sell at auction, we will charge our standard seller's commission of 5%+VAT based on the hammer price your entry has achieved. The sales commission will be deducted from the hammer price (if the reserve is met), with the remainder being paid to the seller.

 

 

 

Sellers can specify a fixed reserve. We do not make discretionary changes to reserves on sale day under any circumstances without the sellers prior consent.

 

 

 

Proceeds of your sold consignment will be paid to the seller within a maximum of 5 working days after we have received the full purchase price from the buyer. We will settle with you the amount of the hammer price less any outstanding charges (including transport, sales commission fees and VAT as previously agreed).

 

 

 

Buyers Terms and Conditions

 

 

 

All purchases are subject to a buyers premium of 15% + VAT at the current rate

 

 

 

The purchasers of all lots under £1000 hammer price must pay for the item in full by the end of the sale day and before the lot can be removed unless alternative arrangements are made in advance

 

 

 

The purchasers of all lots over £1000 hammer price must pay a minimum £500 deposit towards the item by the end of the sale day. The remaining amount will be due within 5 working days of the end of the auction. No lots will be released until cleared funds are received in full.

Payments are accepted by debit card or bank transfer only.

 

 

 

Fees – A Worked Example

 


For example a winning bid at the fall of the hammer of £10,000 would lead to a final bill of for the purchaser of £11800 including VAT (£10000+[£1500 +£300 VAT])

 

 

 

The seller, having enjoyed free entry of their lot into the auction, would be returned a total of £9400. This is the £10000 hammer price less 5% + VAT, (£10000 - [£500+£100 VAT])

 

 

 

Bidding

 

 

 

Bidder registration is required prior to the start of the auction. You can bid at auction either in person by attending the sale, by telephone, by leaving an absentee bid or live, online.

 

 

 

To bid in person prior to the sale you will be assigned a paddle number that you will be able to use on the day

 

 

 

If you are unable to attend the auction on sale day, telephone bidding will still allow you to bid in real time. On the day of the sale, a member of Beamish Auctions will contact you, usually a few lots prior to your selected lots and will guide you through the process. To register a telephone bid, please contact us a minimum of 48 hours in advance. It is important that you provide us with alternative contact numbers to ensure that we are able to contact you on the day. If, for any reason, we are unable to contact you any of the telephone numbers you submitted, you may wish to enter a "covering" commission bid, this however is entirely optional.

 

 

 

If you are not be contactable on the day of the sale, you may leave with us an absentee commission bid. Please contact us for each lot you wish to bid on, stating the maximum amount you are willing to bid up to (excluding buyer's premium and VAT). We will execute your bid as low as possible on your behalf up to the agreed maximum amount

All purchases are sold strictly as seen. No warranty is given or implied, and these lots are sold purely as collector's items and not as road legal means of transportation.

 

 

 

Vehicle Identity and History

 

 

 

All vehicles being presented for sale by Beamish Auction are done so with the understanding that the vehicles are collectibles. Their primary function is not for transportation and potential bidders should be aware that the condition and presentation of each vehicle is based on information provided by the seller. It is the sole responsibility of the potential buyer to conduct an inspection of both the vehicle and any corresponding documentation for validation prior to the day of auction.

 

 

 

Documentation

 

 

 

A reminder to all bidders to check and validate any documentation being provided with lots. Any existing paperwork may not be automatically transferred to a new owner so it is the responsibility of each bidder to insure the validity of any documentation and position presented with any lot.

 

 

 

Warranty

 

 

 

Beamish Auction acts solely on behalf of the Seller to offer his lot for sale by auction. As such, we do not offer any warranty or guarantee as to the condition of the lot including road worthiness, mechanical fitness and/or accuracy of information provided by the Seller. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect and conduct due diligence prior to the day of the auction.

 

 

 

Insurance

 

 

 

Vehicles are insured prior to and during the sale of the auction by Beamish Auction. Once the hammer falls, it is the responsibility of the new owner to immediately arrange appropriate insurance for the vehicle.

The auctioneers reserve the right to refuse admission to, or eject from, the saleroom any persons without giving any prior warning or explanation.

All successful purchases for which full payment has been received must be removed from the auction hall by 17.30 Hrs on the sale day Saturday 06/07/2019. By agreement successful purchases may be removed from the auction venue during normal office hours by 17.30 Hrs Monday 08/07/2019. Any item not so removed will be taken into store by the auctioneer at no charge for up to 28 days once payment is received. Any storage in excess of this figure will be charged to the purchaser at a rate of £50 + vat per day unless other specific arrangements or agreements have been made prior to, or on the sale day. The same applies to any unsold lots.

 

 

 

This is a Sale by Auction under English Law and is subject to the laws which govern such sales.
Your attention is drawn to the following conditions which will apply specifically to any sale conducted by the auctioneers: Lots are available for inspection and will be sold as seen.

Every effort is made to ensure that any description given is true and accurate based on information provided by the consignor of the lot, but descriptions are not guaranteed to be accurate.

The auctioneer is acting solely as agent for the consignor.

 


No bid will be accepted unless the bidder has registered with the auctioneer prior to the sale and has provided satisfactory evidence of identity and means of payment. (Driving licence, bank card, letter of credit or banking reference etc.).

All lots must be paid for in full before the lot can be removed.

Payments are accepted by debit card or bank transfer only.

Any lots requiring delivery will be charged at the buyer’s cost. Quotations available upon request

A sale is concluded at the fall of the hammer and the auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the fall of the hammer without giving any reason. The auctioneer also reserves the right to bid on any lot up to the reserve on such lot.

In the event of a disputed bid, the auctioneer reserves the right to re-open the bidding and to determine at what price it shall re-start.
