TERMS & CONDITION OF SALE

  1. The auctioneers terms and conditions of sale are to be adhered to in conjunction with Bidspotter / ATG Media terms and conditions.
  2. The highest bidder for each lot shall be the purchaser. Any bid made cannot be withdrawn and if any dispute arises between two or more bidders the lot in dispute shall be offered again and re sold or the auctioneers may declare the purchaser.
  3. The auctioneers reserve the right to refuse any bid without being called on to state a reason.
  4. All lots are sold with their faults and defects, if any, for ready money to be paid at the close of the sale in accordance with payment terms.
  5. All lots are at the purchasers risk from receipt of full payment.
  6. No guarantee or warranty is given or implied in respect of any lot and the auctioneers accept no responsibility for any error or mistake in the description of any lot.
  7. VAT will be charged to the purchaser on all lots and on the auctioneer’s commission.
  8. The auctioneers reserve the right to refuse any transfer of purchased goods until such time as payment conditions have been fulfilled.
  9. Buyer’s charges. A buyer’s premium of 10% plus vat will be charged on each lot in addition to the purchase price.
  10. All lots are sold subject to VAT.
  11. The purchaser will be responsible for lifting and removing the stocks at their own expense and must be finished and completed by the finish date detailed with each lot. Should any Lots or part Lots remain on site after the finish lifting date the vendor reserves the right to remove or destroy the Lot or any part thereof without compensation or notice to the purchaser.

PAYMENT

Payment must be made by BACS within 24 hours of the purchaser receiving confirmation of their successful bid. The auctioneers will forward a Bill of Sale or Invoice electronically and by post. No lots can be removed until full payment has been received. Should a purchaser not make full payment then any deposit payment or part payment on account will be forfeit and the lot or lots will remain the property of the seller. The seller will be entitled to re offer the lot or lots for sale and be entitled to all the proceeds without deduction.

COLLECTION AND REMOVAL OF LOTS

All lots will become the responsibility of the purchaser upon full payment. The purchasers will remove the lots from the site premises at their own expense prior to the finished lifting date as decribed with each Lot. Arrangements for removal of each Lot are to be made via the auctioneers.
