It is on a first come first served basis. As this is a free service it is extremely busy so there maybe long delays before you receive your dimensions. They will not be available on the Monday directly after the sale. Do not organise your courier until they have been issued as you may have to pay for recollection. If we package your items and you ask us to alter how they are packed there will be a fee for doing so. Always be explicit how you want your items packed i.e. pallet, 2 boxes, etc. to avoid any charges.

Sale Procedures
The Auctioneer shall regulate the bidding and shall determine from time to time the appropriate increment needed to advance the bidding. The person making the highest accepted bid shall be the purchaser as defined in these conditions. If a dispute arises as to any bidding, then at the discretion of the Auctioneers either:-
(a)The lot to which the disputed bid relates shall immediately be put up again or
(b)The Auctioneer shall determine the dispute and his decision shall be final and binding to all parties
The Auctioneers’ reserve on behalf of themselves and the vendors have the following rights:-
(a)To sell subject to a reserve price
(b)To bid on behalf of a vendor and/or purchaser
(c)To refuse any bid
(d)To rearrange, consolidate, divide, add or withdraw any lots or vary the order of the sale
Risk
The buyer is at risk as soon as the hammer falls and is strongly advised to effect insurance at once. Purchasers should note the lot boxes are for display purposes only. They are not intended for carrying items that may be displayed within them. The Auctioneer and/or Vendor accept no liability whosever , should a box with contents split open whilst a purchaser moves it during the clearance period.
Damage
Any person or agent attending, who damages a Lot, whether sold or not, will be held liable for all damage caused and shall reimburse City Auctioneering Ltd or its agents for all costs and expenses relating to rectification of such damage including consequential loss.
Condition & Warranties
All items are sold as seen with no warranties or guarantees regarding suitability for purpose. All electrical items are sold for reconditioning purposes only. Items can be tested on site.

Buyers are reminded that lots stand at their risk from when notified of purchase by email and is their responsibility to insure such items at their expense. Please note this will be a separate arrangement between you and the shippers, not City Auctioneering Ltd, and all contact, arrangements and costs for packing (where applicalbe) & shipping will be between you and the shippers.
Where goods are to be exported outside the EEC by the buyer, and within 3 months, VAT will be refunded but only when the Invoice of Export is provided e.g. Certificate of Shipping. VAT will still be payable on the buyers premium and any storage costs incurred.
Non Payment
In the event that cleared funds in full are not received within the specified time period the Auctioneers reserves the right to rescind the sale by notification email to the address on the registration form and re-offer the lots. These buyers will be banned from ALL our future auctions and report to ibidder as non-payers. We reserve the right to charge for any losses or costs arising.
Non Clearance
In the case of paid items not being cleared we reserve the right to charge a storage charge of £10.00 + VAT per lot per day from the 4th day after the sale unless previously agreed with the auctioneer
