How to Bid

Registration is via i-bidder or the saleroom personally for this auction. To prevent sniping the auction will extend by ten minutes after the cut off point until there are no further bids.

All lots are subject to a buyer’s premium of 17% + VAT at 20%.

Condition & Warranties

All items are sold as seen with no warranties or guarantees regarding suitability for purpose. All electrical items are sold for reconditioning purposes only. Items can be tested on site.

Payments

Notification will be by email of your successful bids. Payments to be received no later than 12 noon Wednesday 1st August. Collection times 9:00am – 4:30pm on Thursday 2nd August & Friday 3rd August and Monday 6th August.

Please note this will be a separate arrangement between you and the shippers, not City Auctioneering Ltd, and all contact, arrangements and costs for packing & shipping will be between you and the shippers.

Where goods are to be exported outside the EEC by the buyer, and within 3 months, VAT will be refunded but only when the Invoice of Export is provided e.g. Certificate of Shipping. VAT will still be payable on the buyers premium and any storage costs incurred.

Non Payment

In the event that cleared funds in full are not received within the specified time period the Auctioneers reserves the right to rescind the sale by notification email to the address on the registration form and re-offer the lots. We reserve the right to charge for any losses or costs arising.

Non Clearance

In the case of paid items not being cleared we reserve the right to charge a storage charge of £10.00 + VAT per lot per day from the 4th day after the sale unless previously agreed with the auctioneer
