The provisions of all Terms apply to the sale of Lots made through www.i-bidder.com (the “Website”), and to the extent that such adjustments in practical application of the General Terms and Conditions are warranted by virtue of the electronic medium of participation in any given auction, so such adjustments shall be deemed made so to give full application to all relevant and applicable General Terms and Conditions.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• All participants in the I-Bidder / ASSET REMARKETING Website auctions warrant that they are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and are of the legal age required to purchase any relevant Good(s).
• Any reference in the general Terms to the Buyer Premium will also, for the purposes of sale/purchases over the Website, include any online Buyer’s fees of which the Buyer will be so notified at the time of Registration to the auction.
• The Website operates a ‘2 minute rule’ which means that any person who bids on-line within the last 3 minutes of a specific Lot closing time will instigate the automatic extension of the Lot closing time by an additional 3 minutes and so on for any such subsequent bids.
• In addition, use of the online bidding platform is at all times subject to the I-Bidder conditions of website use.
• During an auction, potential Buyers can bid for a Lot by clicking the “Bid” button. Each bid shall be final and binding as soon as the Bid button is clicked.
• In the event of a tie between a bid placed by a potential Buyer online and any other identical bid(s) it will be at the auctioneer's discretion as to which bid shall be accepted.
• Buyers acknowledge that the online auction is a conducted to the General Terms and Conditions set by ASSET REMARKETING and agree that each bid submitted as provided in these Terms is irrevocable and cannot be amended or corrected, even if submitted in error and notified to ASSET REMARKETING.
• Buyers are fully liable for all bids submitted via their online bidding account (including the liability to pay in full and on time in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for any Lot that is the subject of a successful bid submitted from the Buyer’s account).
• I-BIDDER.COM provides the online bidding service “as is” and without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. Without limiting the foregoing, Asset Remarketing accepts no liability for any failures, delays or errors caused by interruptions in the availability of the online bidding service or I-Bidder.com website or any errors or defects in content or functionality, any software and/or hardware defects (whether the potential Buyers or ASSET REMARKETING’) and or any internet connection problems (whether the potential Buyers or ASSET REMARKETING) and ASSET REMARKETING do not represent or warrant that the ASSET REMARKETING website or online bidding platform will be error-free, virus free, or that any defects will be corrected
• The buyer is responsible for the items at the fall of the hammer and should insure from this time. All lots are sold in accordance with the “Auctions and Bidding Agreements Act” which places responsibility upon the purchaser and all risks to the purchaser. All sales are regarded as “Wholesale” Not “Retail” and so are not afforded protection under the “Consumer Protection Act” and other laws.
• Returns/Refunds are not offered or issued on any items. ASSET REMARKETING do not warrant or guarantee any lots or part lots, descriptions or faults. All lots that are graded for information purposes, Asset Remarketing will not be liable to the buyer for any faults or mis-described lots.
• All goods are deemed second hand unless otherwise stated.  Any images used are for reference only.  Images may not depict the actual lot or lots being offered and stock images may be used. Any Lots that are marked X2 X4 etc. are multiple lots and the bid price is for one item, so the bid price will be multiplied by the number of items in the lot.
• Where any lot is marked SIS – these items are sold in situ from the Sellers location, it will be deemed by Asset Remarketing as a lot for sale within an auction and the winner bidder/ buyer must adhere to the terms and condition of purchase outlined in the terms and conditions.  In some cases, the Seller may withdraw any or all lots in an auction even if a buyer has won the lot and has paid for it, Asset Remarketing reserves the right to cancel these lots based on the withdrawal of lots by the seller and will only be responsible to refund the buyer for the payment and charges that they have made for the lots.  Asset Remarketing will not be held responsible for any losses of profits, costs or overheads incurred by the buyer for any withdrawn lots.

OPENING AND VIEWING TIMES

We encourage all buyers to view Lots prior to bidding. Unless otherwise stated viewing is between 1pm and 3.30pm by appointment on the day prior to the start of the sale. We are open for viewings and collections during the following times.

Please note we are closed on ALL public holidays. 

DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS AND COMMISSIONS

All bidders are required to register before they can bid, a minimum of £10.00 deposit will be requested before you will be able to bid, this deposit will be refunded to you if you have not purchased any items or will be deducted from the total purchase price once lots have been paid for and collected.

All Lots are subject to VAT at 20% unless otherwise stated. However, please be aware that VAT will be applied to the buyer’s premium and any surcharges at all times.

A Buyers premium of 23% + VAT will be added to all Lots.

Accepted payment methods are Debit Card, Credit Card (3% charge), Bank Transfer (Bank details will be on the pro-forma invoice and is our preferred method of payment, please use the pro-former invoice number as the reference).

All Payments should be made before the end of business (17.00 hours) next working day after the end of the auction. For example, the Auction finishes at 20.00 on Friday, payment should be received by 17.00 on the Monday. Payments which are not settled on time will face a 5% late payment penalty charge per day.

Pro-forma invoices will be emailed at the end of the auction; full invoices will be emailed when final payment is made which may include any additional charges.

Items which are not paid for within the timescale plus one working day will be re-auctioned and the deposit on file will not be refunded.

Bidders who do not pay for items will lose their deposit and be blocked from further auctions and reported to i-bidder.com.

COLLECTIONS

Collections MUST be arranged within 48 hours of the auction ending by either telephone or email, a time slot will then be allocated to you, if you think you may miss your time, please call us in advance and we will attempt to fit you in, if not you may have to re-schedule. Re-scheduling may involve a storage charge. All collections should be accompanied with a printed (hard copy) of the pro-forma invoice, we will not accept soft copies displayed on a hand held device or smart phone. Buyers who just turn up may be turned away or have to make an appropriate appointment for collection, this may incur late collection charges and/or storage charges.

DELIVERIES

We do not Automatically deliver items and do not build delivery into the price. We may deliver items at our discretion, so please contact us via email if you require this service.  Deliveries of up to 20Kg (per consignment) can be made via our delivery partner, Interlink Express (DPD). All consignments are sent tracked, next working day un-insured. Prices are as follows and include all packaging and labelling. We do not combine postage and we do not spread postage across auctions.

• Up to 2Kg - £10.00 + VAT Per Item
• Up to 10Kg - £20.00 + VAT Per Item
• Up to 20Kg - £30.00 + VAT Per Item

We only deliver to mainland UK Post Codes, the Highlands of Scotland. NI, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man would be subject to a £25.00 additional charge plus delivery price + VAT. On all consignments.

For European and international destinations, please enquire before bidding.

Courier Collections

Courier collections are allowed, we will require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and the delivery paperwork emailing to us. Collections arranged after the 48-hour collection period will incur storage charges. Boxing up fees are as follows:

• Up to 2Kg – £5.00p + VAT Per Item
• Up to 10Kg - £8.45p + VAT Per Item
• Over 10Kg – Pallet collection £25.00 + VAT per Pallet.

Storage

Unfortunately, we cannot store items for bidders on an ongoing basis, as you must appreciate, storage is at a premium. Where items have not been scheduled for collection or dispatch within 2 working days of the auction finishing, a storage surcharge fee will apply to all items. This surcharge will apply to all items, whether paid for or not and regardless of the reason.

• Small items up 2Kg - £5.00 + VAT per item
• Large Items up to 10Kg - £10.00 + VAT Per item
• Items over 10Kg - £25.00 + VAT per item.

GRADING AND DESCRIPTIONS

Illustrations in catalogues, digital displays or grading terms are for identification and information only. ASSET REMARKETING will not be held responsible for any damage or defect that has not been notified to the Buyer. Buyers must satisfy themselves prior to sale as to the condition of each Lot and should exercise and rely on their own judgment as to whether the Lot accords with its description.
