VIEWING: Viewing may take place on the morning of the sale from 8.00am or on Sunday BEFORE THE SALE from 10.00am until 1.00pm ONLY .Access to the sale site for viewing will be denied at all other times.

 

V.A.T : Value Added Tax will be payable on all items offered for sale unless

otherwise stated at the statutory rate of 20%. If PURCHASING FOR EXPORT please see special VAT rules displayed in the sales office and register your intentions with the Auctioneers before purchasing any goods. 3 month time limit!!

 

COLLECTION OF PURCHASED LOTS: All lots must be collected within 3 days of the sale unless otherwise agreed/discussed with the Auctioneers. NO COLLECTIONS PERMITTED AFTER Thursday DIRECTLY AFTER THE AUCTION (except by arrangement). Loading facilities for some larger items can not be guaranteed at the sale site. Purchasers are advised to make their own lifting/loading arrangements for large/awkward items. SITE GATE CLOSES 4.00pm ON ALL DAYS. NO HGV ACCESS TO SITE BEFORE 8.00AM !!! No overnight parking on site or in local area.

 

INSURANCE OF PURCHASED LOTS: At the "Fall Of The Hammer" the Purchaser is deemed to take full responsibility for the items purchased. Where applicable purchasers are encouraged to insure their purchased lots or to confirm that they are covered by an existing policy against loss or damage. NO RESPONSIBILITY shall be taken by the Auctioneers for lots that are damaged or lost before, during or after the sale

 

SAFETY REGULATIONS: Purchasers must satisfy themselves prior to bidding that the items offered comply with all currently applicable Health & Safety, CE Certification or Road Traffic regulations concerning their use, alternatively they shall undertake all necessary works required in order to comply before usage. The Vendors or the Auctioneer’s shall not give or imply any guarantee that the items offered conform to current legislation. BUYER’S PREMIUM: Buyer’s Premium shall be charged on all lots at the rate of 8% plus VAT (to a maximum charge of £240 plus vat per lot) unless otherwise stated to the contrary.

BUYING FOR EXPORT: Any customers that are buying goods with the intention of exporting them from the UK & wish to reclaim the VAT in relation to these goods MUST register under the Export Buyer’s Scheme to qualify. Rules & conditions apply. Please contact the Auctioneers for clarification & further details.

PAYMENTS: Payments shall be made on the day of the sale. Such payment shall be made by UK DEBIT CARD, TRANSFER, CASH (£500 limit). International Debit & All Credit Cards are subject to a 2.5% surcharge and subject to £1000 limit. Personal and Business cheques shall only be accepted from persons known to the Auctioneer. NOTE: The Auctioneers reserve the right to withhold delivery of any purchased goods until cheques are honoured by the Purchaser`s bank.
