Terms and Conditions

Our Standard Terms and Conditions (see https://www.wellersauctions.com/terms.php) apply to all Auctions.

Buyers Premium

•All Lots are subject to Buyers Premium

•25% + VAT on Hammer

•iBidder Premium of 5% + VAT

•All Lots are subject to 20% VAT on the Hammer Price

•iBidder Buyers will attract an extra Buyers Premium of 5% +VAT

Payments and registration

•All onsite buyers must register at the sale site office on the day of sale, and collect a buyers number before bidding.

•iBidders must register with iBidder to Bid

•All lots must be paid for on day of purchase unless other arrangements are made with the Auctioneer (see below)

•After Auction day, subject to special arrangements, Payment at Wellers Auctioneers, Chertsey 01932 568678

•WELLERS DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS OVER THE TELEPHONE. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO PAY BY BANK TRANSFER OR BEING PRESENT AT THE SALEROOM AFTER THE SALE WITH CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD (CHIP AND PIN REQUIRED) OR CASH

•The buyer is responsible for the cost of removal of all purchased lots. Wellers will apply a charge for packing per Lot by arrangement ONLY

•CASH - Sterling only

•CHEQUES - are acceptable up to the limit of the cheque guarantee card. Cheques in excess of the guarantee or Company cheques are only acceptable from proven customers or those who have provided cast iron references prior to the Sale.

•Payment may be made by Debit Card/Credit Card. However, please note that there is a surcharge of 2.5% on all Credit Card transactions.

•BANKER’S DRAFT - is always acceptable. Should the Draft exceed the purchase price, Wellers Auctioneers will issue a cheque to cover the difference the day after the Sale.

•For Amounts over £1,000.00 we prefer a CHAPS transfer of funds.

•Goods will not be released until payment is received and/or cleared through our Bank Account.

•Wellers full business terms can be viewed on our website.

Clearance:

•No Lots may be removed from Site without prior payment being made and on production of a valid Wellers Invoice when collecting.

•All purchased lots must be removed from the site by 13:00pm Thursday following the Sale. WE ARE CLOSED FOR COLLECTIONS BETWEEN 1PM AND 2PM

•All small lots should be removed on day of purchase. All purchases should be insured by the purchaser after purchase.

•Where goods are being exported outside the EEC by the Buyer, and within 3 months, VAT will be refunded but only when the Invoice of Export is provided. e.g. Certificate of Shipping. VAT will still be due on the Auctioneers Commission.

Storage

•After 13:00pm Thursday following the Sale (clearance deadline) Storage charges of £1.00 per item to £5 per item per Day will apply.

Packaging and Shipping

•Wellers do not offer Packaging and Shipping as a service – see below for local shipping agents

GOODS WILL NOT BE RELEASED TO ANY OTHER COURIERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

THE ONLY OTHER OPTION WOULD BE TO COLLECT YOUR GOODS YOURSELF IN PERSON.

No goods may be removed before payment of Hammer and Commission costs
